Whenever you're in the mood for a comforting bowl of ramen, this is the place to pop in. This is a tiny place- a hole in the wall- and you can see the cooks intensely at work. Both they and the waitstaff are genuinely nice. The person who calls out the names of each party, remembered to come find me because I told him I was deaf. The several times I've been seated at the counter, one of the cooks would gesture asking how I liked the food. The people there are very cool, down to earth and fast at what they do. The miso ramen and the vegetable ramen options are fantastic. Highly recommend. Accepts CASH only and the lines are long sometimes. I have waited an hour to get into the restaurant, but it is SO worth it. The place is almost always packed, but if you want to dine in the later hours, before they close, it is less crowded. The turnover of customers is high and the traffic is efficient. I have not experienced rushing through my meal, but there is a silent code of understanding that people don't 'park' and while away the time when there is a visible horde waiting outside to get in and dine.
