I have had the sweet joy of taking class with Raja in several settings. In her beautiful Walnut Creek home studio, on an ASL Walk from San Francisco to Los Angeles, via video on computer and I believe once here in Colorado. Each time it touches my heart how clear and patient Raja is. She was born to do this. I deeply appreciate her patience when we focuses and zeros in on breathing and postures. I have almost non-existent proprioception due to head injury and constant tinnitus even though I am stone cold deaf. This makes balance a real challenge to me but also of course something I need to work on and cultivate. Touches my heart how patient Raja is and yet how she insists it can be learned. This is infinitely helpful to me. My favorite part of classes I love all of is the guided breathing. I had not realized how often I hold my breath and learning healthier breathing habits is vital to my on going quest for the highest vibration and well being. She is also a raw food vegan and will share very delicious and healthy eating ideas with you. Fun and illuminating! Thank you Raja for bringing all of this wonderful work to all of us your community.
I have taken meditation classes before, but never were the classes fully accessible to me. I signed up for a four-week meditation class with Raja Rajeshwari who is Deaf and fluent in ASL. Classes were conducted on-line, which was easy to navigate after a little bit of tinkering with my web cam. Raja Rajeshwari did a great job at engaging me in the lessons, was very clear, patient and encouraging. I don't know how you get any more accessible than this!
