Facebook HQ

Facebook is a very cool platform in which I have enjoyed connecting with friends and family over the years. It's deaf-friendly in some ways because it allows us access and is not dependent on audio information. However, one thing they need to improve on is their video offerings. Directly uploading a video to Facebook, there is no option to add captions, nor watch video's with captions. BIG fail not thinking about this feature before launching their new video offerings. When I wanted to discuss this with someone at HQ, it was impossible to find an e-mail address or telephone number on their website.

I have to say that Facebook is an EXCELLENT online social networking service. Especially for the Deaf communities, the Facebook allow us to communicate with our loved one, lost and found friends, and new friends through mutual friends. Our primary communication is Messages and vlogs. Vlogs has been very popular to Deaf individuals which allow us to use our own sign language to express or lecture. Keep it up, Facebook!
