Security woman finger spelled to communicate with me.  Actual IRS worker didn't, expected me to speechread, and overall was blah about our encounter (I smiled/friendly, he didn't/wasn't).  *If I could recommend anything to the security people, it would be #1 write process/expectations clearly on the wall or a monitor for everyone to know.  And always assume the 
best in people.
