We were beyond impressed by their efforts of updating their ADA kits, and the fact that the kit was ready for us upon arrival. Although the TTY is now outdated, the hotel offers in-guest services where we can request various services online from the hotel. This is great for us as Deaf people, being able to do this without having to use the phone. I do wish we had been notified of this feature upon check-in, instead of via a letter that we didn’t open until the next day. Regardless, we have shared this with the staff, and they are working on increasing visibility of this feature. The front desk staff was great, especially Benjamin who we adored because of his patience and willingness to communicate with us on numerous topics such as the city and the hotel. He was easy to interact with, and wasn’t afraid to accommodate our communication needs. He went the extra mile to ensure we had a pleasant stay. We’ll come back; hopefully, by then, they will have learned some basic signs!
