I came here to celebrate my birthday with a group of friends, all of them who sign and some interpreters. I was so impressed with their service because first of all, I called them a few days earlier and was connected with a manager (via ip relay). I asked him about table reservations, and he said that they were first-come, first-serve and recommended showing up earlier to reserve the yellow booth chairs. He told me that he would look for me when I got there. When my boyfriend and I arrived, we found the yellow booth chairs but my boyfriend wasn't happy the booths because they were too low and far away from the Bingo board. The manager found us quickly and told us that he had already reserved the high tables on the opposite side and closer to the Bingo board, and we were THRILLED. It was right next to the bar and made it easier to order drinks. Then we were immediately greeted by a fantastic waiter named Cody who had paper and pen ready (apparently he was already informed that we were Deaf by the manager) and communicated with us via writing and was super-friendly and attentive. When he saw that I was using a Cardzilla app, he asked what app it was then proceeded to download it and communicated with us via that app. Everyone was so overwhelmed by his frequent check-ins, willingness to communicate and friendly approach. He did that with EVERYONE, including the interpreters. It felt really good knowing that he was taking care of us. He even let me know when the Bingo was ending and to make sure to play the Blackout Bingo (basically sharing what the announcer was saying). It was almost intuitive for him to include us and everything about the service and was smooth flowing like there was no hint of communication barrier. He also gave us dessert on the house (different flavored macaroons!) for my birthday. He was just AWESOME. He also let us know that his shift was ending and asked if we wanted to close with him or switch to a different server and without hesitation, we closed with him so we could give him good tip. We missed him the instant he left his job, and I told him how appreciative we were of him and amazing he did serving us. I want to make sure that the review gets to him! :D I actually think he got a kick out of serving us and communicating with us via Cardzilla.
