A stealthy robot vacuum twirls around Suz Ledet's hardwood floors, absorbing the ever-shedding white fur of her two Boxers: Marlee and Lucky Lucy. Pigmentation is first of two clues that they are unique: White hair is often associated with deafness in dogs.

Posted by: Staff Writer on April 11, 2013  |  Comments

This isn't your Grandpa's RV, nor the road trip you took while barely out of puberty. In Jack Kerouac's On The Road, two soul-searching young men blaze across the nation in a '49 Hudson. Fast forward 60 years, and two men in an RV (see their tour dates here) are helping deaf/hard of hearing students find their calling – and spur them into academic action.

Posted by: Staff Writer on March 24, 2013  |  Comments

Posted by: Staff Writer on March 18, 2013  |  Comments

We debated about the seven Tour de France titles Lance Armstrong lost, watched from afar as Greece wrangled debt-restructuring deals, mourned Malala’s brave plight, as Syrian conflicts raged.
