A few years ago, I discovered from a deaf friend that Dr. Jerry Katz knows sign language fluently so I made my dental appointment. He is a very friendly dentist who is a CODA. I have not had any issues communicating with him. The staff doesn't know sign language, of course, but they were willing to communicate with me using paper and pencil whenever necessary. I didn't need to request an interpreter anymore for my dentist appointments because I got Dr. Katz. Definately a deaf friendly place!
