I came here for a work day while in Capitol Hill. What a pleasant surprise to meet a few staff that know ASL. One was nearly fluent and the other was just learning. When I asked for a tour, the rep Sheena was very thoughtful and brought her laptop with her everywhere and typed out everything she wanted to share with us about the space. I love it when people get pro-active about how they will communicate effectively rather than leave the burden of navigating the barrier on the Deaf or hard of hearing person. When inquiring about their ASL knowledge, I learned that they invested in having an ASL teacher come in to teach their staff Sign Language. I look forward to visiting this space again! Oh... and on top of that, the space is very beautiful, well laid out and full of positive entrepreneur energy!
