Yaaaaas! Trader Joe's finally opens up by Gallaudet. And they hired signing staff. Smart. Each staff person throughout the store is nonplussed by having Deaf customers. They get them by the droves. How refreshing to be treated like a typical customer because you ARE a typical customer. Deaf-friendly to the max. Love stopping here on my way home. In fact, sometimes I stop here even when I have no reason to because I like it being there that much. I always leave with something new I'm excited to nosh and nom on, along with a side of deaf-friendly customer service.
