Apple West 14th Street

Guthrie

I have been a proud patron of this store location for five years. Initially, I was resistant to (what I believed to be) the whole cult-like following of Apple believers. After being in this store for the first time in August 2008, the first sales associate came up to me and immediately started signing.

This sealed the deal.

Since then, for my many requests (from one-to-one to repair, to sales) this location had an ASL user on duty. If I wanted to pop in the store for a short request, all associates were very friendly, made eye contact, and were easy to lipread.

I learned that all staff members were personally coached by someone who was hard-of-hearing to ensure the accessibility of the Apple experience for its patrons varying from Deaf to Hard-of-Hearing.

I never looked back. The products are great, great, great - and the support behind it is matched. My only hope is that it stays this way.

Now I understand why its fans are so loyal.
