Above and Beyond!

I have profound hearing loss and am legally Deaf. Over the weekend I took my mom to see George Lopez perform at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA for her birthday.

I wear behind the ear hearing aids in both ears so I can't use the amplification headsets most theaters/arenas provide. I messaged the Honda Center event team in advance, and they were able to provide me with remote real time bilingual captioning on my own cell phone via a link. Captioning quality was excellent and even captured spanish slang words and curse words used in the show.
