Zemeta Ethiopian Restaurant

Local Tasters

I love love love this place!! When I was student at RIT, I'd go here monthly for a heavy dose of Ethiopian combo platter! :)

The owner, I think her name is Zemeta, is very friendly and I can tell that she gets a lot of deaf customers coming in to sit and eat. She always pulled out her pad to write down what she was trying to say. She would point at food items on the menu to ensure she gets the right order - she has so much patience. The best part about her, she ALWAYS has a smile on her face whenever the customers come in and sit at their table.

I don't think I can find another authentic Ethiopian restaurant and their service like Zemeta's.
