It is not often you find a deaf owned restaurant. In the heart of Mission District in San Francisco, this tiny, but cozy Italian restaurant with some Asian influence surprised me with the innovative food. What was not surprising is that the restaurant was well-lit, solid color walls to minimize visual distractions, and ASL friendly staff.
If you go, the Mozzeria Bar (small plate) Gnocchi Fritt0 (small plate), Potato Gnocchi (Pasta), and Humming Ale (Beer) are a must! They often have specials so it is a treat to try new things.
