This isn't my first time visiting and it won't be my last. This place, with an entire signing crew makes me feel so comfortable and welcomed. It's super easy to order my food or ask questions in ASL. I could also chat with customers who knew ASL. Very neat and rare experience! I ordered the mushroom pizza and the burrata. Both very yummy!

The food are so delicious. The workers are DEAF! Just perfect as if we are in the Deaf world getting the service like that.  The environment is a true San Francisco!  Will be back again this time with my whole family.

I visited San Francisco sept 2013.. One of the stops was this restaurant!!! It felt great to have access in a restaurant and I had to order for my hearing friends... Gave us all a new perspective and I'm thankful for it! Food was yummy.. Didn't fulfill us so we had to get more food afterwards since the price was a little too much for us.

I love San Francisco and every time I am in town I have to go to Mozzeria.
The gourmet high quality items on menu is enough but then add the fact its deaf owned and all waiters fluent in ASL, this is a nice thin slice of heaven and I feel like I have arrived at my foodie utopia!  I have had dishes here with my friend Ken that I have not found anywhere else, we tend to order several things and share all so we can sample more things. Always I am delighted, charmed, satisfied and inspired to try to make at home in Colorado for family and friends. I am a great cook but I can't match the chefs at Mozzeria. I also love how Melody and Russ come out and check in and chat with everyone. They don't really know me  but they will stop by table and check in.  That is great business sense and quality control:)
Really can not say enough good things about the place. If you are in the Bay, don't miss this place!

My wife and I went to this restaurant for our romantic date. The staffs are awesome and easy to communicate with, of course, in ASL. It made me wishing that every restaurants can be like this one. The foods are fantastic. Gotta love Peking Duck pizza! It's O-M-G heavenly delicious!

Always have a great experience here!

I enjoy myself every time I come to Mozzeria. If its not talking with the great waitstaff (which are friends of mine) or the owners, I'm digging into the best burrata in the Bay Area. Long live Mozzeria!

Good service, but the food and price are mediocre.

It is not often you find a deaf owned restaurant. In the heart of Mission District in San Francisco, this tiny, but cozy Italian restaurant with some Asian influence surprised me with the innovative food. What was not surprising is that the restaurant was well-lit, solid color walls to minimize visual distractions, and ASL friendly staff. If you go, the Mozzeria Bar (small plate) Gnocchi Fritt0 (small plate), Potato Gnocchi (Pasta), and Humming Ale (Beer) are a must! They often have specials so it is a treat to try new things.

A restaurant where I can order in ASL with 100% Access?? Champ! The pizza and wine were so good! This place was very busy on a Friday night, but the owner still made time to come say "hello". Major points for that!

Pizza was amazing. We ordered their special Pear and Brie pizza. The flavor, cheese, and crust were perfect. It wasn't too sweet. I had good red wine with it. I enjoy the atmosphere and enjoy to order food and drink in ASL. Friendly staff and good service. I'm bummed that this isn't in San Diego because I would come back often! I suggest that you check this place out and order their small plate, pizza, and dessert with a good glass of wine or beer. I know you won't regret!
