Bartell Drugs

Kate

I stopped by to get vaccinated. Their pharmacist named Ellie approached me and started to sign fluently in ASL. I was surprised but thrilled to be able to communicate through my primary language instead of having to write on paper. Because of this, the whole thing was done very quickly. He waved at me across from the room to get my attention to come over to a different window so I could pick up my paperwork.

I asked about how Ellie knew ASL and they shared that it was because of Deaf family member(s). It was a pretty cool deaf-friendly experience for me. Thank you, Ellie!
