I appreciate exceptional coffee, single brewed and strong. This is the place to go for that. There are plenty of places to sit, but the place goes through waves of becoming crowded very quickly and very strict about discouraging the use of laptops (yes!). Once you place your order, you have to 'listen' for the drink or do what I usually do which is wait at the end of the long counter to pick up, because they won't bring it to you.
The vibe is hip, down to earth with interesting artwork hung on the walls from local artists.
For the longest time, they didn't believe in creating beverages to go, but that has since changed. If you're in a hurry and just want a solid cup of java that packs a wallop, go to Cafe Grumpy! They offer a unique selection of tasty baked goodies and teas.
I come here to chill in between jobs, chat with my yoga buddies or meet up with an ASL client.
