Recently founded in 2016, this Dance Company is all about making sure EVERYONE can enjoy music and dance - whether you're Deaf, Hard of Hearing, or have any kind of disability. We took a trip to check out the studio while we were in the Denver area, their studio is like a playground for your senses! We experienced this awesome vibrational floor that lets you feel the music through your whole body. These platforms have about 27 vibro-tactile pads that convert sound frequency into a vibrational experience. The staff there are either deaf or knowledgeable in ASL. We heard about their incredible platforms from our Deaf Colorado friends, so we just HAD to try them out at our Aspen Camp Nature retreat. Picture this: our deaf retreat participants feeling the sounds of waterfalls, crackling fires, singing bowls, and even whale songs... all through their bodies! It was like nature's very own boombox!
