Whenever I make it known that I cannot hear them such as at checkout, the staff are usually willing to write on paper if we need to communicate like informing me of how much the total amount is or to ask me: credit or debit? Some of them will sign "thank you" back to me whenever I sign it to them as I leave the store :)  

Overall, I've usually felt comfortable shopping at this place and to talk with the staff whenever I need to.
