It's no April Fool's joke. After much social media buzz, voting, and feedback, the verdict is in: deafREVIEW has opened its review platform in not one, not two, but three bustling cities on the East Coast today. That's right -- all three cities have such good review potential, we couldn't simply pick one! If you live in or have visited Washington, D.C., New York City, or Rochester, you can now write consumer reviews about local businesses you frequent. Don't live directly within the city? No problem: You can write reviews within a 60-mile radius of the three major city hubs.

Somewhere in Fremont, California, a pack of teenage underdogs are stirring. They can’t hear their opponents, but boy, can they throw them off-balance – with elaborate sign language for the “no huddle”, and the mettle of a warrior. Sports Illustrated (SI) has noticed them, and the California School for the Deaf (CSD)’s football team needs your votes by November 15 to vie for “Underdog” glory.

Eleven years ago, the terrorist attacks on U.S. soil was so devastating, that there is not one standard sign for it. There are many - and all of them evoke deep emotions. Ask anyone from the deaf community to sign “Twin Towers” or “9/11” and you’ll different signed interpretations to the event that changed the world forever. Some of us punch a fist against the “1” hand shape. Others, two index fingers slowly dropping one by one. For others, it's an explosion or collapse.
