Last week a group of us went to this Mexican restaurant for a friend's 65th birthday on a rainy night. I had called ahead through the relay service asking if I needed to make reservations and to inquire if it was okay to bring a homemade cake for our friend's birthday. Whoever answered the call was so friendly and polite. She assured me that we would not need reservations but warned we might have to wait a couple of minutes for a table and said that it was perfectly fine by them for me to bring the birthday cake. When we arrived, we were able to find a table near the wood stove which was appreciated as we were wet from the rain and in a well lit area. The food was delicious and the waitress was very patient with us and attentive to our needs. She spoke with a heavy accent but was willing to point at the menu for clarification and gestured with us as needed. When we brought in the birthday cake, she brought out dessert plates and extra forks without asking. Never felt pressured by her to rush through our meal which was SO good! I plan to return there with my daughter when she is in town for Christmas if time permits.
