U.S. Customs and Border Protection - Sumas Port of Entry

Kate

My Deaf friend and I went through this port of entry for an activity in Abbotsford, Canada & returned back through this same port at end of the day to go home in WA. During both stops in one day, we encountered border agents who were comfortable communicating with us via paper/pen. I was so impressed when they both signed "thank you" to us as we went through the port (in and out of US/Canada). It was my first time encountering this & I wanted to thank the two border agents for providing a positive Deaf-friendly experience.
