The woman who helped me at the drive-thru (black hair, asian, young) made my experience getting food super easy. When I couldn't place my order at the intercom, I just drove to the front window and typed my order and handed it to the cashier. Without skipping a beat, she took my phone and got everything taken care of. When she wanted to let me know the price, she typed it back on my phone. This was very efficient. Most people will try to speak back to me and can't think outside the box on how best to communicate with a Deaf customer. She even signed THANK YOU as I left. Kudos to this cashier for being easy and comfortable and not making me feel like a second-class citizen.
