After I made initial contact with this office and arranged my appointment I requested an ASL interpreter in which the office didn't want to provide. I had to spend my time educating them about their requirements under the ADA. They then agreed and arranged which I appreciate. The interpreter was on time and professional. Unfortunatley, it was clear to me when I arrived that everyone was a little irked that they had to provide an interpreter at all. Dr Davis, while very friendly and professional could work on his bed-side manner. He was clearly upset that they had to pay for the interpreter and he mentioned that to the interpreter during my appointment. It left me with a bad taste in my mouth and I decided to no longer do business with them and went somewhere else where they already understood about the law, providing accommodtions and had excellent customer service. I hope they read this and seek out ways to improve so the next Deaf patient doesn't experience the same let down when visiting Mill Creek Family Eye Center.
