Communications has usually been a bit nuanced when interacting with the bartender. I've tried body gestures which doesn't work too well. I usually have to resort to my phone, but sometimes they cannot read (English?) well. I've ordered the food from their specials menu and have to walk from the table to the board to point it out. Not quite a smooth experience although I have a higher level of patience that enables me to continue enjoying my meal.
