Ok. I haven't eaten at Dick's in like, 5 years. I am not a fan of Dick's burgers even though it is a popular place to eat in Seattle. You can't miss Dick's on Broadway with its bright vintage-orange sign. Anyway, I hosted a friend who haven't been to Seattle in 10 years, again who would like to eat at Dick's for old times sakes. I was impressed to know that often there is a ASL or ITP student who works there. That makes me think whether if Dick's actually hire a few students who knows ASL in case a co-worker is approached by deaf customers. Keep in mind, it is pretty common to see deaf people signing on Capitol Hill. Applying this to all fast food restaurants, I'm sure everybody gets the wrong order once in a while, but for us deaf people, we get wrong orders multiplies of times! Subconsciously, I'm still relieved that Dick's hasn't changed their menu in years. It's so simple and easy as 1.2.3. That's on the pro side. On the con side when we need to wait for our orders, we wouldn't know which order is ours. Above of all these, all I want to say is that their loyal service is something we don't see everyday. Keep it classic, Dick's. Oh one more thing, they do not accept plastic cards. (Get their old-fashioned milkshakes!)
